I am trying to set up a wireless network and am having problems installing the network key. Whenver I try to put the key in and hit connect a box comes up saying 40 bit or 104 bit and 10 key or 26 key. The network key is 26 characters. After i enter the key number twice and hit connect I get this box. What do I have to do to get it to accept the key?

The computer is running xp with the 2nd update.

thaks in advance.

In the past we had the same problem... what we had to do was change the type to the larger (so the field opens up to allow more characters) and input the number, after the number is typed in.. change the key type back to what you want and hit save. It makes no sense, but that was our fix.

Hope it helps!

What kind of a wireless router are you using?
