GREEN BAY – New Era on Friday announced the release of hats designed for the 2025 NFL draft, which will be in Green Bay on April 24-26.
Each year, new hats are designed specifically for drafted players to wear while meeting NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on the draft stage. This year's design was revealed in February. Each on-stage cap includes a laurel leaf on the brim, the team’s name, logo, and a unique pin that celebrates a team's or city’s history. The Packers hat sports a bicycle pin.
The new-design hat ranges from $37.99 to $49.99, depending on color, style and whether it includes a bicycle pin.
In a tradition dating to at least 1958, during training camp Packers players ride the bicycles of young fans from Lambeau Field to the practice fields east of South Oneida Street. The youngsters run or walk alongside the riding players, often carrying their helmet.
Other teams that visit Lambeau Field for training camp also participate in the tradition, including the Baltimore Ravens in 2024 and the Houston Texans in 2019. The Ravens' participation led to a viral moment where star quarterback Lamar Jackson nearly fell off his bike.
