Hello All,

I am a recent transplant to the area and I plopped down my 400 bones to get on the waiting list. I plan on asking for lower level tickets when it's my turn to pick on the 9th. Do any existing season ticket holders think there will be seats in the lower level area? If so, where would be the best place to sit? I'm looking to get as close to the field as possible and concessions are important. I love stadium junk food and beer. Any advise or opinions would be appreciated.

You are on the waiting list because you want great seats or because the Cards are sold out?

I'm guessing I'm on the waiting list because of the lockout issues. I was told by the ticket salesman they are giving current holder until Aug. 4 to renew. He also told me he was certain there would be open seats but he could not say where. My fingers are crossed for lower level.

You picked a great year for some Cardinal football, I think a lot of people are going to fan up after this year and the tickets/heady seats will probably be harder to get and all. At least that's what I'm thinking, as far as food and beer, pretty much everywhere. Az Tailgate is half the fun, that's where I met a lot of these guys (ASFN) in person last year. Rock on.

If you're a Cardinal fan, try to get seats on the West side of the field. That's the side the Cardinals bench is on. Duckjake has some Club level seats he is looking for someone to split with him. They are really good seats.

...I see that TX in your name.....you DO know that cowboys fans aint allowed in the stadium right?? they are actually illegal in the whole city of Glendale, shoot on sight policy.....just a heads up, in case......

But there is not a bad seat in the hous...I was on the third level, in the corner up above where the field rolls in...I would buy those seats back in a second if I still lived in AZ....the beer booth was only 20 feet away...there are lots of concession areas, great views everywhere.

I can attest to this (bought in with Duck for a year) - he has great seats.

Thanks for the input everyone. I lived in TX for 15 years before moving here but I hate the Cowboys. I'm buying tickets so I can watch them get blown out. I am a dreaded Spurs fan though. I had season tickets for the last 4 years with them. I'm sure everyone here was happy to see them fall apart in the first round. As far as football, I'm from New England and I'll always be a Pats fan (I know that's not much better than the Cowboys).

I would love club seats but I really want to get the whole season and my budget is $250 a game for two seats. I'm really happy to hear all the sight lines are good. My friends are saying I'll be lucky to get end zone seats on the lower level. I'm in it for the long run so I'll work my way around. I've already bought my jerseys and plan on adopting the Cards as my NFC team. What to do if the Pats ever come to town??? I guess I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

We sit in the lower level in section, well, this year, 125. (We were in section 124 last year.) We were able to upgrade, so I think there will be options in the lower level.

I agree with 40yrfan. The "visitor" side of the stadium (where my section is) has lots of scalped tickets and, hence, opposing fans. It can be extremely obnoxious, especially if the Cards are stinking up the joint. But it is pure joy when you kick, say, Green Bay's ass in the playoffs.

But, yeah, there really isn't a bad seat. It's an awesome stadium. Oh, one more thing, since you mention you like beer, make sure you don't get into a family section. (We have those, right?)

I'm in section 421, row 6 -- this will be year #4. I'm near the front of the section, and there's lots of adult folks/families down there -- very knowledgable fans and very little drama. More toward the top of the section/stadium it's a little more roudy as those are mostly single game tickets and lots of visitors at each game, but it's mainly just a hilarious view from down low. It's a corner endzone section, but still very good view and cheapest pricing section in the stadium (we pay $400/seat for the whole season). I can afford more, but I really like where I sit and don't have a desire to spend anymore.

There was a thread like this on the Cards msg board a few months ago and someone who sits a few rows in front of me suggested the first few rows of 421, and a couple of others with tix had good things to say about our section.

Section 406 is where it's at :D

Honestly, as everyone else has said, there's really not a bad seat in the house. Go on the cards' website and check out that seat view program they have. It gives you a computerized view of what your seat view looks like. I'll try to go find the link.

There's a few in here who run around (myself included) supporting a couple different teams, roots are roots and childhoods are the same way. There wasn't any Az Cardinals when most of us Az natives were growing up, it's all good. Da Bears was my squad as a midget (I still got love for them) just because I watched them beat my step dad's Cowboys, is what it is. I think it's cool we got another good fan amigo.

Wow, there are some great deals here. It sounds like the upper levels here are better than I expected. The only other football stadium I've been to was the Alamo Dome. I've seen numerous basketball games and one Saints game there and the sight lines aren't great. I may consider upper level near the front if there are good seats. I like the idea of saving money.

There are scalpers everywhere in the stadium.
We moved out if sect 125 because it was over 50% scalped seats. We were often surrounded by opposing fans.
Look at stubhub and see the tickets for sale in each section. You'll get a good idea of where to be and not to be.

Awesome. That is where I am moving TO, lol. But, yeah, 124 is just as bad. Plus, I'll be in row 4 this year, so whoot!

I remember when I could buy SEASON tix for $250/seat back at SDS....

I don't really miss those days (or those teams :) ), just saying.

Go Cards!!!

See I was on the visitor side for the last 4 years and had no issues. Most of my row and peeps behind/in front of me where the same people each time I went and they were season tix holders

We've had some movement over the past few years, which sucks. Used to have a father and son in front of us and that kid was just freaking awesome. He was maybe 10 years old and he was a blast! Also helped to keep me and my mouth in check. :)

I think 125 will be good. We will be close to some die hards that are always on the fan-o-vision and fo to the Big Red Rage radio show. Should be a good move.

I am in 412. Great views of the whole field. No obstructions. And I am on the 45 yard line (home side). I've had the opportunity to see games from the lower level and if you get too low, your view can be somewhat obstructed by the players on the sidelines.
