New here, but I'm a long time Cards and Warner fan.

I just came accross this message board while spying on an opponents message board and thought I'd join up.

First off I've been a Kurt Warner fan since his college days and a Cardinals fans for over 20 years. I've lived in eastern Iowa most of my life, but also have lived in Phoenix for a short time as a child. I'm also a fan of the other Phoenix teams and have/had other favorite Arizona players including Randy Johnson and Kevin Johnson.

As I pointed out I'm a member of other Arizona message boards, so you might have seen me before. I've been on the other message boards for around five years. I hope I didn't make this too long, I just thought I should introduce myself.

I'm from Decorah, have lived in Waterloo/CF.

NeverSayDie is from the CR area I think.

DBQr8r is from Dubuque, but is a Raider fan (although between me and Al Davis a wedge will be driven and we'll convert him, yet).

There's a couple of others too.

WELCOME! Regardless on what happens the rest of the way, I am HAPPY for Kurt & his family. His story is AMAZING and it always reminds me that IF I keep trying, GOOD things can happen. ...And "Spidey" was almost on-target. I grew up in CT. (The Land of the Giants) but became a Cards' fan in the Summer of 67' when we beat Boston in the World Series. From there it carried over to the Cards in football and the Blues in hockey. Now, my dad grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa. I never followed a college team but started pulling for the Hawkeyes as a way to bond with my dad. Funny thing is I follow them closer now than he does, and I'm always giving him up-dates as to how they're doing. ...And, Man, what a GREAT year for the Cards & Hawks!! Looks like Iowa will be playing New Years' Day and the Cards could fly high in the Play-Offs! After so many years of disappointment, I'm just savoring it all. Anyways, WELCOME. The people on here are AWESOME!! ALOT of passion for their team. Yes! We sometimes disagree BUT...WE KNOW we're on the same-side. It's GREAT being part of this. GO CARDS! ...AND HAWKEYES, too! ...AND I'll have a pizza with pepp. THANK-YOU!

There was like 5 regulars there. lol Anyways I'm in the Quad Cities here. You're right Chicago (I think you said) isn't very for at all.

Sadly enough I do...my grandparents still live in St. Joe, about an hour north of Fort Dodge, town of about 500 and declining now.
