This is the way it went down:

Adrian Wilson wanted #24 as a rookie. That was the year in which Tommy Knight switched from #22 to #24. So Adrian was stuck with #22. When Tommy Knight left, Adrian jumped on #24 and Starks assumed #22.

Emmitt wanted #22 and I heard that Starks gave it up for a donation to the Starks Charitable Foundation.

Very good news--

I can take my old #89 "Boston" jersey, and with some carefully applied Red magic marker, change it to the new "Foster" jersey

Of course, by doing so, I will doom Foster to being cut in training camp

"New Jersey' numbers assigned?

Are the Cards moving to New Jersey or is that just the exit number each member will be responsible for on the Jersey turnpike adopt-a-highway program?

Something I've always been curious about...

Why doesn't anybody ever wear #77? It's not retired is it?

Now the real question for me is, do I still get my personalized jersey I always wanted with #77? That was my number through out high school and college. I did some research when I was told it was retired, for a stalwart warrior who died in the locker room after a game!

What to do?

Ken, I know what their numbers were, they are on the retired list. That's why I asked the question Who are/were they?

I'v never seen or heard their names before.

Anyone know any info on them?

I think its NFLSHOP.com, you can make your own jersey, thats how I had the first Pittman Jersey... (I was young and needed the money)

But it was cool seeing his face when he signed my jersey, he was like OMG someone has my jersey!
