My ex gave me some electronic music stuff for B-day I couldn't use, so I exchanged for these very high-end professional musician earbuds.
Alas, within 5 minutes it was clear that my ears are a bit too small -- worn correctly, they stretch my ear uncomfortably; when worn comfortably, they don't stay in. And they are not returnable -- once the package is opened, that's it. So they were used with my ipod for about five minutes -- just over one Dire Straits song -- that's all. They have four or five sets of alternate-sized covers to fit various ears, but I tried the smallest ones -- others are not even touched. Also a little carrying case.
I suspect they'd be fine for a guy - they are very slightly too big for my ear and I'm an average-sized woman. The sound quality is really excellent (better be, for the price...) and distinct. They are intended for professionals.
I got 'em for $179. I'd LIKE to get $150, but I'll listen to any offer before I try to deal with Ebay.
