The orange jerseys ditched the sleeves... thats a plus.

Looks like they put purple trim on the court, which is also a plus, but it still looks like Halloween. Both the home jersey and home court would look 10x better if the black and purple were swapped.

Six different uniforms is absurd though. And that black one is bleh. I actually wouldn't mind a black with a purple and orange trim, like our 90s black uniforms, but these are black and white... they look like a crappy version of the Heat's crappy black and white uniform.

It's so lame that every team is going to have a black uniform now. I realize they do this because the black jerseys sell like crazy, people will wear a black shirt but maybe not an orange shirt.

So yea I get the business side of it, but it still sucks. Why do they have to wear them on the court? We're Purple and Orange man, and we're the SUNS! Where does black come into this scheme? That gray getup is aweful too.

Don't they get new uniforms every few years now? Or is it even every year?

IMO, the gray uniforms are the worst followed by the black.

If the Suns put purple on the court, this has to be an improvement.

It's amazing how much better the orange uniforms look without the sleeves.

I like the purple trim on the black uniform, I just wish they had change the "PHX" to say "Phoenix" or at least make the letters purple or something.

Strangely, the "Los Suns" uniform might be my favorite.

Hate the orange and the T-shirt version.

i wish they'd just embrace the purple around the court. The black is just ugly.

I'm surprised Booker got #1, I was surprised when Dragic got it too. You gotta think that Amare is going in the ring within a few years of his retirement.

But I suppose they let McDyess wear #34 for a season after Barkley left.

I'd hope that Stoudemire goes in as #32, not as #1. #1 was after the eye injury, if I remember correctly. His best years were as #32.

I think he switched to #1 as of 2006, so only played 1 year with Nash in #32.

Phew: in that photo it looked to me like the purple uniforms had some gold trim, but it's just the lighting.

The gray and black jerseys aren't even worth discussing.

The orange and white are good (orange is much improved) although I've never warmed to the wordmark. There's nothing about it that relates to the city, state, logo, or nickname; and no precedent in the organization's history. It's just a new, mediocre font. Why they can't use the original font, or the western font that many of us prefer :deadhorse:, or at least the 1992-93 logo font (which is similar to the current), I don't understand.

What's probably going to happen is the Mavericks will decide to embrace a western font and the Suns will be even more hesitant.

Bring back the classic uniforms from the Hornacek & KJ years, just before Barkley came to the desert. White at home. Purple away. Use the team logo from that period as well.

Classic.

Timeless.

But off course I understand this is about dollars and cents...
