The New York Giants are hard at work looking for their next quarterback and will host 10-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson on Friday as they await word from veteran Aaron Rodgers.
But even before that takes place, the Giants hosted former Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco in East Rutherford on Thursday.
Flacco was recently floated as a potential option C should the team miss out on both Rodgers and Wilson, who are on the radar of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers is also reportedly drawing the eye of the Minnesota Vikings.
Flacco, 40, was a first round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2008 NFL draft. He has also had stints with the Denver Broncos (2019), New York Jets (2021), Philadelphia Eagles (2021-2022), Cleveland Browns (2023), and Indianapolis Colts (2024).
As a member of the Ravens, Flacco was named the Super Bowl XLVII MVP.
In 196 career regular season games (191 starts), Flacco has connected on 61.7 percent of his passes for 45,697 yards, 257 touchdowns, and 162 interceptions. He's also gained 890 yards and scores 16 touchdowns on 386 rushes (2.3 yards per attempt).
In 2023, Flacco was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
