From the New York Post:

The first move in the Nets' future will come in Los Angeles, where the Clippers must decide whether to match Phoenix's six-year, $45 million offer to Quentin Richardson. Today is the 15th and last day for the Clips to match. As of yesterday, they still seemed up in the air.

If the Clippers match and keep their two guard, there will be no apparent need to revisit the Nets for trade talks regarding Kerry Kittles. But if the Clips let Richardson go, then discussions should resume with the Nets about Kittles. The Nets and Clippers have had ongoing talks, so this is nothing new.

The Nets tried to pry away forward Bobby Simmons with no luck — he's a favorite of coach Mike Dunleavy. If a deal for Kittles is made, the Nets likely will get draft choices that could cause what is left of a Net fan base to evaporate.

I just read on a summary on HoopsHype that Mike Dunleavy said the Clippers are prepared to match on Richardson unless they make another move today. I'm not sure that is anything that we didn't already know.
