Anyone else auto update to the new terrible Tapatalk? So hard to navigate

I was postinbg from it too, I dont like that I cannot pull up the thread view where you see every different forum on one page as if logging in on the computer. Then once you choose a forum to go into, each post is a tile instead of a list of threads. I understand that fixes fat fingering into the wrong thread but I never had too many problems with that. Now it is like a cluttered image wall instead of a list.
I hate where technology is going. It reminds me of idiocracy with the tablets and the windows 8.1, news and etc. Everything is going away from text in favor of slideshows, videos and giant tiles to click on. I wish I could go back to the old version of tapatalk.
Still considering switching back to windows 7 too. it is so difficult to do anything on windows 8.1 that i dont even bother half of the time.
I paid for tapatalk but this newest update? I wouldnt pay for this. Id likely prefer going to the website on my phone vs this.

I don't like the new default view when you open the app. Need to see if there's a way to change it.

cant seem to find any settings to make it better either. it is more of a most recent post deal but when im on my phone I want to see certain things, not everything posted on the site. unless i find a way to fix it ill be using tapatalk far less in the future.
