NFL draft 2025 live tracker: Thursday first-round picks

It's not in Detroit this year, but the 2025 NFL Draft should still bring a lot of noise.

The Detroit Lions have the No. 28 pick in the first round, though it's not guaranteed that's where they will pick. The Lions had the No. 29 pick in the first round of the 2024 draft, after all, only to trade up to No. 24 and draft cornerback Terrion Arnold.

The Tennessee Titans have the first overall pick in the 2025 draft, and many experts (including our own Dave Birkett) expect them to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward. Other top prospects expected to be drafted early include Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter.

As for the Lions, there's no consensus on whom they will take in the first round — though many analysts believe Detroit will target an edge rusher.
