The Cleveland Browns continue to do their due diligence on Miami quarterback Cam Ward despite him being strongly linked to the Tennessee Titans at the top of the 2025 NFL draft.

Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Browns hosted the Miami quarterback for a private workout in Miami following his Pro Day this week. Kay Cabot mentions that head coach Kevin Stefanski, general manager Andrew Berry, and owner Jimmy Haslam were all in attendance to see the first-round prospect as the Browns continue to look to overhaul their quarterback room.

The Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick and have been impressed with Ward this week, but they remain open to possibly moving down. Tennessee and Cleveland are two of three teams left without clear starting quarterbacks on the roster, and they could use a top-two pick on one in hopes of finding a short—and long-term answer at the position.

While it feels like the Titans seem content standing pat and selecting Ward to be the top pick in April, it would be remiss for the Browns not to properly evaluate all their options with the position they are in. If Atlanta remains unwilling to work with Kirk Cousins on a departure and the Browns aren't content with a veteran like Carson Wentz, using a top-two pick on a quarterback is a sensible course of action if they are high on Ward or Shedeur Sanders.
