The Cleveland Browns scheduled a top-30 visit with one of the best offensive weapons in the draft.

According to Adam Schefter, the Browns are meeting with tight end Elijah Arroyo on Tuesday. Arroyo was one of Cam Ward’s favorite receivers. The tight end is a large target in the middle of the field with the speed to beat defenses deep. The 22-year-old had 590 yards and seven touchdowns on 35 receptions. Arroyo would be a great fit for the Browns. The team is expected to return to Kevin Stefanski’s offense, featuring a lot of two-tight-end sets. Arroyo has a skill set that is complementary to David Njoku. Both tight ends are weapons in the passing game. Njoku could take him under his wing and teach him the nuances of the position.

Arroyo is one of the top tight end prospects in the draft. He was injured earlier in the pre-draft process and didn’t participate in the NFL combine or Miami’s pro day. Hyper-athletic prospects need to work out ahead of the draft, and the Browns want to verify their athleticism. Arroyo’s lack of athletic testing hasn’t dented his draft stock; he is projected to be a day two pick.
