The New York Jets have lost defensive tackle Leki Fotu before the team ever really got to know him.

After taking free-agent visits last week, Fotu took his talents elsewhere. The Las Vegas Raiders have announced the signing of Fotu. Full terms of the deal have yet to be announced:

Fotu was a fourth-round pick by the Cardinals in the 2020 draft out of Utah. After his rookie contract expired, the 26-year-old signed with the New York Jets last offseason.

Fotu never made his mark in New York, playing only two games because of injury.

While the Jets had plenty of holes in the middle of the defensive line this offseason beside Quinnen Williams, multiple players have already been added to the position during free agency. The likes of Derrick Nnadi, Jay Tufele, and Byron Cowart have signed in New York.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
