Two days before the 2025 NFL draft begins, SI's NFL insider Albert Breer is opening up his notebook and sharing his latest intel, which includes one specific note about the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While Mason Graham has been an extremely popular selection for the Jaguars in mock drafts, Breer's sense is that Jacksonville will go offense at pick No. 5 over defense.

"The closer we get to Thursday, the more I think the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to go offense and not defense at No. 5," Breer wrote. "I don’t know where that’ll leave Michigan DT Mason Graham (I’ve heard the analytics people with some teams aren’t wild about Graham), but it could cause him to slip a few spots—plenty of people see him behind Ole Miss OT Walter Nolen as a prospect. Nolen, though, has character questions to work through."

In a separate article, Breer reported that there are "whispers" of Liam Coen wanting to add an offensive weapon.

If the Jaguars are going to add an offensive weapon, it's either running back Ashton Jeanty, who there has been a lot of buzz around, or wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who Adam Schefter mentioned as an option for them at pick No. 5.

Another option, as it pertains to the offense, could be selecting offensive lineman Will Campbell if he's available or Missouri's Armand Membou.

Naturally, much of the attention has been around Trevor Lawrence and how Coen gets the quarterback back on track. But accomplishing that, as Coen has described, will require more balance around Lawrence so he doesn't have to do it all on every play.

Another offensive weapon will help shoulder some of that playmaking burden that can often fall on the quarterback's shoulders and also help take some of the attention off Brian Thomas Jr. as well.
