NFL mock draft 2025: Rounding up AI predictions for the first round

Artificial intelligence is all the rage in 2025. But how well can it predict the first round of the 2025 NFL draft?

USA TODAY Sports put four different AI chatbots to the test – Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Grok and ChatGPT – by asking each one to make its mock draft predictions for Round 1 of this year's draft. Human writers were on hand for each mock draft to make sure each pick was plausible.

Each pick also featured some of the AI's justification, and our writers analyzed those decisions and justifications in each story.

Here's how the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft could go, according to four of the most popular AI chatbots:
