NFL Network Update

I don't know if any others in the East ran into this problem, but for several days, the NFL Network signal broke up, pixelated and then descended to "searching for satellite" on my living room TIVO/DirecTV unit (but the signal was OK on other units in the house).

Then suddenly, yesterday the signal popped back on as clear as ever.

I'm just wondering if anyone else ran into the same problem.

I'm guessing that the sun electro-storms may have damaged satellite transmission quality just enough to push signal strength just below the threshhold needed for receivers with poor connections or slightly defective tuners to receive it.

It's nice to have it back. Last night, they had a one hour NFL Films documentary on Gruden and his staff that should be "must watching" for those of us who wonder whazzup behind the scenes with coaches.

Regarding the Giant website "free stream." - Once the NFL discovers what's going on there, the party, no doubt, will be over. (Maybe they're looking the other way to provide an initial "free taste" and stimulate fan interest).

The network comes in fine here in Texas. One thing I heard today. During the show NFL Access Seth Joyner, Ken Norton and Rich Eiserman do their picks for four of the games this weekend. They all went with the Cards over the Steelers. Hope this is not a jinx!!!

It's currently (10 AM Sat, AZ time) saying "please tune back during broadcast hours". But the schedule shows that they're on 24 hours a day.
