UPDATE (7 p.m. ET): The Patriots make the signing of free-agent wide receiver Cameron Meredith official. UPDATE (5:07 p.m. ET): According to ESPN's Field Yates, Meredith has indeed signed with the Patriots but will join two other Pats receivers on the physically unable to perform list. Due to his knee recovery, the Patriots signed WR Cameron Meredith and placed him on PUP.
