At Tampa on my birthday..... Hmmmmmmmm.

Other than that, what could we have hoped for? We were going to lose most of them anyways.

I agree with whomever said 2-6 on both sides of the bye. 4 or 5 wins. That's what I see.

Yeah, I'm going on record for a 5 - 12 season. I figure we'll either finish with 5 wins or 12 losses so I'm covered either way.

The good news is DWash comes back at the right time.

I'm so excited to watch Patrick Peterson play football next year.

He'll be matched up with Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith, Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston, Roddy White, Julio Jones, Andre Johnson, not to mention Percy Harvin and Anquan Boldin within the division.

Patrick Peterson is going to have ample opportunity to establish himself as the best cover cornerback in the NFL, as long as Todd Bowles doesn't hang him out to dry.

Also:

WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH... We only have one nationally televised game, and it's on premium cable, so no one will watch it! WAAAAHHHHH!

That's probably a good thing...a 38-0 thumping by the Hawks...I'm giving us a 20 point advantage for playing at home. :D

Arg.. the only thing I was hoping for in the schedule this year is that home games wouldn't get sandwiched around my wife's due date. We are home on 10/17 and 10/27 -- her official due date is 10/23... pleaseee don't be too early or late kid!!

Don't worry about a conflict, you can always DVR it. Then, when the game is over you can watch her on the DVR.;)

We are the Eagles first game after the bye. This is one of my "on the fence, might win" games. With them coming off the bye, and us traveling out east with a 1pm est start. It could cost us a cheap victory.

I think we get Carolina after their bye, also.

The thing that ticks me off is, we're spending two weeks in Florida this fall. Pretty close to New Orleans, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Did ANY of those games line up with that? Heck no. Best option is St. Louis in September (been there, done that, don't like the stadium) or Nashville in the middle of December - open air in the middle of winter. The Cincinnati game wasn't too bad, but who knows what the weather will be like this year.

After we draft Barkevious Mingo and Honey Badger, we'll have enough family homes in the greater Louisiana area to foster the entire organization!

Well at least Daryl Washington wouldn't be with the team that week.

But what a great marketing deal for the Cards.

Join Your Arizona Cardinals in New Orleans for a week of fun and frolic. 6 nights at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street, tickets to the Saints game, golf with the coaches, plus VIP spots at Cardinal practices, dinner Thursday night with select Cardinal players, special transportation to Tampa for the Bucs game plus accommodation at the Marriot Tampa Airport Sunday night.

Only 5,011 dollars per couple.

First 4 is what matters to me with team learning new QB/Offemse/Defense and best defender out for those games. Think we did pretty well there. after Game 5 who knows what ANY of those teams in the remaining schedule including us have developed into.

Again at 5-11 like someone else said the whole schedule is going to look tough especially in this division. But you can guarantee some games won't be as tough or even gimmes at the time of play as well as some softer looking games looking much tougher. Don't believe me? Go look at the delta in SOS for ALL teams last year from beginning of season to what it was at end.

It's all a crapshoot especially with new QB, GM, and HC. Well know who we are around Game 6 or so.

This doesn't look very good to me... and I thought we could compete if the schedule laid out favorably.

I see us at 2-6 (3-5 if we get lucky) going in to the bye with very little hope for the season... and then an immediate loss to Houston. Then we pick up some wins against lesser teams and end up 5-11.

Blah. Of course there will be a shocker or two, but we'll also drop a couple. This would probably be #1 pick territory if we didn't have Palmer.

Rough, at least we have a lot of early games so I can watch us lose 12 games and get it out of the way early in the day.

The sked sucks, but part of it's due to having to schedule 6 games with the Niners, Seahawks and Rams.

The three killers are ((1) three of the first games on the road, (2) being in Philly on Dec. 1 and (3) the short period between games with the Niners and Seahawks in weeks 6 and 7.

From a team psyche standpoint, the best thing we can do is to avoid scopiing out the season and just treating each week as "the next game" against yet still another tough opponent. (i.e. they're all tough; either we prove we're tougher or we don't).

I'm not worried about the game in Philly. We'll be 9-2 by then.

The Cards have won 10 games once in 36 yrs & they are going to do it again with an overhauled less than talented roster & a new HC? I'm guessing you have them drafting Austin & him being the differance maker? ;)

I honestly don't know why you are a fan of this team. Everything you post is negative. I just don't get it. Not questioning your being a fan, I just don't see why from your posts.

I bet I'm a bigger fan than you will ever be, I travel all over the country following this team & have for nearly 40 yrs.

Btw I'm dealing with the reality of what I see talent wise on our roster & what division we're playing in. If that screams 10-6 to you I hope you're right, but it's highly unlikely this team wins more than 6-7 games.

It's probably better that we start by playing 3 of 4 on the road. Without DWash, we're probably going to lose anyways, so they may as well be road games. When he gets back, he'll give us a better chance to win some home games.

 I like to drink the kool aid as much as anyone but my pitcher's been empty for awhile now. I'll jump at the chance to make a fresh batch but the team needs to give me a reason first.
