I am wondering, on NFL Sunday Ticket, will it be extra channels on Youtube Plus? Or will we have to have a Sunday Ticket app again?
It looks like there are extra channels on my list. They are at the very end on mine.

Signed up and it doesn't look like you can start an in progress game from the beginning or even rewind it back to the beginning

Maybe different if you have YouTube TV in conjunction with Sunday Ticket...... but kind of stinks

Here’s the deal. I signed up for ST through YouTube for $399 I think. You have to sign in to YouTube using the same credentials that you used to sign up. Two hours before the game YT posts a list of the watchable games.
I started to watch on my tv and it became a real problem because you have to go through a bunch of crap in your settings to make sure you’re in an area that allows you to watch. I never could get it to work on one tv so I used my iPad and watched the first half with no problems. During halftime I tried it on another tv and it worked pretty quickly. The biggest problem was during the game it skipped and buffered so much it became unwatchable so I finished it on my iPad.
That’s about it except for the bad final score.

I tried to get it going on a second TV and it took me about until the middle of the fourth quarter before I got it to work. It kept asking me to verify my location and when I tried to it took me through all of these trouble shooting steps. Finally it stated that I am in the Phoenix area and allowed me to proceed.

I even got in contact with their customer service but they were no help. But the location prompt finally went through while I was on hold with them.

Same happened to me using my buddy’s Ticket. Hopefully they work out the kinks sooner than later.

Yeah me too on the 2nd TV (I got it resolved a little faster).

So a couple of things stood out to me:

1. I can't slow motion plays, which sucks, and so maybe I'll have to get a DVR if I want to be able to do that.

2. I tried to "save (the broadcast) to my library" but that didn't seem to allow me to go back and watch earlier parts of the game.

3. If you don't start watching from the very beginning, you can't go back and watch what you missed (at least not while it's live?) Which also sucks.

4. If you pause the game to go do something else, and your connection drops or whatever, you lose all the plays in between when you paused it and when you reconnect. Which also sucks.

Definitely, definitely not as good an experience as with DTV.

I thought picture quality was better than DirectV. No problems with it at all. Annoyed you can't start the channel even a minute early. I would like to start the pregame so it's on the channel while I do other things instead of waiting until the exact moment to start the game.

Doesn't Youtube TV offer a DVR option that you can add to your service? It seems like there would have to be an option to record the game and replay it?

I liked the old NFL ticket on Directv much better. Is there a way to record the games on Utube? I couldn't figure it out with my Roku device.

If you dont mind me asking. How far do you live from your buddy and were you both able to watch the game at the same time in different locations?

They do but it was strange to use. I knew I would miss the start of game but recorded it. I was watching the dvr version, then switched to another live game during a TO. When I went back to Cards, it picked up the live version of the game. I went from about 8 minutes left in Q1 to 4 minutes left in the half.
Could've been operator error too but every time I tried to switch back to dvr after that, it gave the live version.

The differences between streaming and directv will be stark but you should get better useability out of it in the long run.

Switching between your game and fox/cbs games will be a bit tougher for those who don't also subscribe to YTTV. DVR's wont be as smooth, and the switching channels may be a bit clunkier.

NFL+ worked great for me but i don't think I realized how different Redzone with Scott Hansen is versus redzone with Andrew Siciliano. I really didn't like Scott Hansen yesterday.

From Wikipedia:
The NFL RedZone channel should not be confused with the former nearly identical Red Zone Channel, a service that was included as part of DirecTV's out-of-market sports package NFL Sunday Ticket, and was hosted by Andrew Siciliano.[1][38]

Despite their similar names and formats, the two channels were independent from each other, and the DirecTV service launched ahead of the NFL Network-run RedZone. In December 2022, with the announcement that rights to NFL Sunday Ticket would move exclusively to YouTube, it was confirmed that the service will not produce its own equivalent, and would simply distribute RedZone.[39] Its final broadcast was January 8, 2023.[40]

This is 100% correct. they are similar but not the same. Siciliano's version was 100 Times better and now doesn't exist anymore.

I had to sign up for a trial of NFL+ Premium to watch the replay, which worked great once I got past a weird login loop - was able to do this without seeing scores (a problem with they old Sunday Ticket app)

Aside from some testing with the early games really have no feel of the YouTube Sunday Ticket, because it was useless to my needs - it's well behind other sports streaming - instead of focusing on adding chats, focus on actually being able to hold the game

Granted it took some other streamers a free seasons to figure it out, this is a prime NFL product put on by a major technology company - should be in place

For those with YT TV, how was the experience? Was there an option to DVR?

I haven't picked my replacement service yet and was leaning towards Hulu - but may get squeezed into YT TV.........

No, it's replay only. But I can't watch most games live anyway.
How long is the delay? Does it start as soon as the game's over or is it a delay of like 15 minutes?

Usually 15-20 min after the recording is over. So in my experience, the game is over at let's say 1:30. (3.5 hour recording) By 1:45 or so, I check that I can watch the game and I usually can.
