Well, I'm one of those people (if there are any) that think they can do away with pre season games. The top team players are already set in the coaches' minds and when you get down to the last few players... well, I just don't think it makes much difference in who they choose, much like 7th round picks and udfas.

Every scenario I’ve seen from insiders contains 2 preseason games.

Just in time for flu season.

that has always been here.

I still contend that if we focused our government efforts over the summer into preparing ourselves capacity wise to deal with far mroe respiratory issues than normal, it could really curb the death rate of these illnesses and allow the country to move forward economically at the same time. I dont see a downside to being proactive. even if we spent more than needed, it is for medical care and all the equipment can always be repurposed or put into emergency stockpiles.

irrelevant. As a cop my contract doesn’t change because the circumstances of my job could differ. You are bound by your governing contract with which they all voted on and agreed to. If you want wiggle room then put the verbiage in the contract that it can be changed mid stream.

Their jobs aren’t essential and they can freely opt to retire and not play under said conditions. They certainly as entertainers don’t need more money. That’s just laughable.
Thanks for your service sir

Today Oxford reported they start a 6000 Person final test for a vaxine that looks very promising. Basically if everything is fine, by september the world gets its first 10 Mio vaxines and by october it should be around 50 Millions .(just in UK).. so basically if Bill Gates build the right labs and all other countrys start as well, by november with flu + Sars-Cov-2 vaxine you can play and attende everything you want. The outlook for now could be better then anticipated. But till at least september they will need to stay as safe as possible.

Seeing as we have no idea that a vaccine will even be found I find the NFL is being super optimistic.

Vaccine is irrelevant. You just can’t not live life and go on like this forever vaccine or not.

Throw in the fact that the 'flu season' if you will is winding down, we will be seeing a lot less cases.
