I haven't picked it up yet, but I will if they come out with a PC version.

won't happen.

I have this game on the Xbox, and I really like it. I had to turn goalie play way up though, because most of my games wound up being 8-5 or 6-4, and that's just too much IMO. Fun, fast game, and I love the on-the-fly play calling and structured passing.

I don't know about the fighting though. I'm more interested in the hockey strategy.

I never understood the fighting in NHL games. You just hit buttons really fast until one of you falls down.

I havent heard of this problem, but I havent picked up the game yet. I thought in 2k6, fights just happened automatically (no starting a fight or accepting a fight), like it was in 2k5. If you arent getting any fights at all, make sure that the fighting setting in the options menu is turned on. If it is already turned on, bump up the fighting slider in the settings to increase the frequency of fights.

I'm seriously going to patent a video game idea. A hockey game, where when it comes time to fight, it goes all Mortal Kombat. Fireballs, jumping somersaults, pulling spines out, decapitations, etc.

It'd be a fun-assed game.
