After trading away their first-round pick, along with what would eventually become the best odds at winning the No. draft pick in 2019, the Ottawa Senators had little to look forward to in tonight's NHL Draft Lottery. But if there's a silver lining for Senators fans, it may be the fact that the team didn't just gift the Colorado Avalanche with the chance to draft a generational player such as Jack Hughes.
