On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Ryan McDonagh, TB vs. TOR (13% rostered)
McDonagh continued his recent stretch of hitting the scoresheet, notching an assist Monday. He has a goal and six assists over his last seven contests, upping his season marks to three and 27, respectively. After a few down campaigns in a row, McDonagh tallied 32 points last year and is on pace to match that total this season. Even more impressive at 35-years-old is his plus-42 rating, a new career-high, and 149 blocked shots, the fourth straight and 12th season overall with triple-digits in that category.
Cam Fowler, STL @ EDM (24% rostered)
Fowler was shut out Sunday but has hit the scoresheet in five of his last seven contests, notching two goals and seven assists in that span. The Blues are in a dogfight for one of the two Wild Card spots with Fowler playing a key role on the blueline since his arrival shortly before the Winter Classic. Fowler has recently helped make up for the absence of Colton Parayko while his acquisition also bolstered the teams defense that was already without Torey Krug for the 2024-25 season.
Radko Gudas, ANA vs. CGY (35% rostered)
Gudas has points in two of his last four games, alternating contests where he scores and doesn't, so he is on pace to hit the scoresheet Wednesday. Notching points is not his primary value but a nice ancillary aspect when it happens. Gudas is up to 251 hits and 162 blocked shots, exceeding his 2024-24 totals, aided by him playing 10 additional games to date. Anaheim's captain is having a fairly typical season, albeit with a drop in his plus-minus rate from plus-14 to plus-three.
