On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Jared Spurgeon, MIN vs. BUF (27% rostered)

It’s always hard to find defensemen to stream this time of the season, and while Brock Faber maintains his spot on PP1, note Spurgeon a goal and six assists in his past eight games. Considering the Sabres have lost eight of their past 11 with only one regulation win, and an egregious error against Utah where they scored on their own net on a delayed penalty to Utah (!), this is shaping up to be a good matchup for the Wild.

Tony DeAngelo, NYI vs. CGY (11% rostered)

The Isles are running DeAngelo and Noah Dobson on PP1, and DeAngelo registered both a power-play assist and even-strength assist in a 4-3 win against the Habs. Overall, with 12 points and 41 shots in 21 games this season, DeAngelo has been steady and productive, if not unspectacular, but he’s a safe streaming option for some offense and the occasional block or hit.

Artyom Levshunov, CHI at STL (6% rostered)

It’s been a good showing for Levshunov so far, all things considered. The No. 2 pick from the 2024 draft is being overwhelmed (minus-9 in five games) but that’s because he’s playing a lot of minutes on a bad team. The Blues are a tough matchup but the upside for Levshunov as a streaming option is his PP1 role, and the ability to get some shots and blocks.

Luca Cagnoni, SJ vs. BOS (0% rostered)

Impressive debut for Cagnoni in his last game, who ranked third in scoring among AHL defensemen and third among all rookies at the time of his call-up. He skated a team-high 23:15 in a 3-1 loss to the Canes, and while he looked tentative at first, he got far more comfortable as the game went on and quarterbacked PP1. He finished the game with one shot, one hit and two blocks. The Bruins are not a good team, either, which bodes well for the Sharks offense, which has really struggled lately. With an easier matchup and quality ice time, Cagnoni is again a good under-the-radar streaming option.
