On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Simon Edvinsson, DET vs. OTT (8% rostered)

We’re playing the hot streak here with Edvinsson scoring four assists in his past three games. The scoring surge is nice since Edvinsson usually provides only a modest number of blocks and hits. He’s quarterbacking PP2 behind Moritz Seider against the Sens’ 19th-ranked PK.

Philip Broberg, STL at NSH (11% rostered)

Broberg’s coming off a career game with a goal and three assists against the Habs, and this is a good matchup for the Blues, who defeated the Preds rather easily on March 23, 4-1. Broberg’s fantasy value is siphoned from his ‘D’ partner Justin Faulk, who’s been excellent and now rostered in half of Yahoo leagues. The Blues are averaging close to five goals per game during their seven-game winning streak.

Luca Cagnoni, SJ vs. TOR (0% rostered)

Cagnoni collected his first NHL point on a goal by William Eklund, and he’s expected to play his third straight game. He played just 15:16 against the Bruins but it was enough score a point and register a shot, and he’s looked more confident with each passing game. The upside for Cagnoni’s fantasy value is his role as QB on their top power play unit.
