Just like there are winners and losers during the NHL season, there are also winners and losers during the offseason. While it'll take a while to see how these offseason moves play out on the ice, there are certainly takeaways to be had by judging them on paper. Whether it's via the draft, free agency or trades, a number of teams seem to be in better position than they were at the beginning of the summer. Some are closer to making a run at the Stanley Cup next season, and others are just progressing through a rebuild period. But, as always, there are losers too.
