Lots of fun to watch in a marathon. I'd love to be as skilled as some of those who've failed.

Pretty sure I could do Ninja Warrior. No way in hell with most of the Unbeatable's though.

No way you get past that hang from your fingers stage. Not even the Fisherman does that 100%. :)

The one where you have to shimmy across?

In the final stage. The Fisherman once had to disqualify himself cuz he grabbed onto something of the course. The Fisherman could do 60 push ups with both hands tied behind his back.

If we are thinking about the same one, this is probably the hardest event stage of all of them. I'd still love to try it.

I love that in you'll hear the japanese announcer rambling on in japanese and then you'll hear a random word in english every once in a while...like there's no word in japan for "steep hill."

OT: Some channel here is playing the Japanese Iron Chef. They make some seriously weird stuff on there. SO MUCH better than the American (fixed) version.

don't think so. But last week, I saw chicken as the secret main ingredient.
Even I would have turned off that one. I've never seen the Japanese IC, so I don't know what I'm missing. I generally like the American one.

A Chicago chef, Rick Bayless, went on there. He said it was pretty much fixed. We still watch but you must watch the Japanese show. If only for the ditzy female judges they would get.

Wait sorry, it was blue footed chicken. I almost peed my pants from laughter when the judges said "I don't really taste chicken" for the fifth time.
Actually, I think I have seen that one...but didn't watch through the judging. I sometimes just watch to get the interesting info from Alton Brown; I also like watching some of the techniques they use.

Yeah, it can be somewhat entertaining, but those silly Japanese were a hoot.
