going for profit here?
Shame on you.
No different than scalping tickets. I have no problem with it but as a consumer I would never pay more than retail for that toy.
I dont have a problem with him wanting to make money on the deal. I just wouldnt do it here.

true.
Like others have said, I would have used eBay, Craigslist, etc.
Its almost an unwritten rule that we don't gouge on here.
I get the unwritten rule.....I'm not really gouging just trying to get my gouged money back=) I bought a wii off ebay for $370 plus $30 for shipping for my kids, then I found out a few days later that my father-in-law had somehow gotten his hands on 2 wiis and was giving them to my family and my wife's sister's family for christmas.
I threw my original post up quickly at work not thinking I needed an explanation for my price.
I have it for sale on craigslist for $400 and I dropped my price on here to $370.
I dont have a problem with him wanting to make money on the deal. I just wouldnt do it here.
Yeah, ditto. I offer things for sale here for face or less. Ebay and ticketmaster for profit.
I disagree. Unless this forum says "Face Value or Discount Value For Sale" forum then I say do it. There is nothing wrong with it. There are people willing to pay for hot items like the Wii.
no takers on craigs list?
i also had 3 people say they were going to buy it from craigslist and then they flaked......it's getting old.
