In other words we probably won't have him for Detroit and possibly the Colts(calf strains can be tricky). I can live with that but he better be OK for Dallas in week 3.

Anyone else been worrying this pre-season about Nkemdiche getting injured? Does he strike you as being so tightly wound up that injuries are bound to happen?

I really would have loved to see a healthy, no-excuses season from him.

2-3 weeks is a lot to miss, especially given that Saturday's our first real shot at live bullets from a good team.

My biggest concern is that it lingers and he is only semi effective all year

Sucks! He was playing well. Problem with Robert is he's like a FORD...Found On Road Dead. It's horrible as a fan, and I'm sure for a coach, when players flash talent, but spend game after game injured.
He's not earned his check or NFL respect yet.
The D line needs him or they're just another average D.

I thought that we might have gone with six DL on our final '53', in order to keep an extra player at another position. Now it's almost certain that we keep seven.

Man I knew he would come down with a nagging injury right before the real games started. I think that's always going to be his MO. Give us just enough of a tease during preseason and real games that give us hope - next year will be the year. Then the cycle continues. Like Floyd.

I suspect Keim goes shopping for a DLineman once the cuts occur. I also think he goes shopping for a RB and we see both Ellington and C Johnson getting cut.

Meh, I am a glass half full guy when it comes to football. He is going to heal and he is going to be a beast for us

The Ford's I drive go well over 300k miles. You must not take care of your cars.

I read elsewhere he is day to day. But my pessimism is trying to drag me down on this one, I will admit.

Arians said there was no need to play him in the final game so he is really only missing this Saturday's contest.

Until he gets a few DUIs, please don't compare him to Floyd...it's disrespectful. [emoji12]

He needs to take better care of his body and hydrate.

He needs to change his first name to Troy.
