The Dbacks are the slight favorite.

No, they are not good. They are below average. I would rather see Fossum and Randolph in there, but hey its Brenly's team (Sadly). But I think they may be .500 pitchers. Sparks has a knuckle ball, but a bad one.
When he goes back to his 25-different-lineups-in-the-first-30-games . . . and the D'backs winning percentage is about the same as the Suns.Originally posted by devilalum
How fast do you think they'll pull the plug on Brenley?
Strange how those multiple line-ups produced the best offensive team in the NL in 2002 - most runs scored, highest OBP, 2nd highest OPS. Those same multiple line-ups produced the 3rd most runs in 2001.Originally posted by BC867

Don't know about Randolph as a starter. But yes, I'd rather see Fossum, since he's what the D-Backs got for Curt. I also hope that this is the year Patterson steps up and shows he's a legitimate major league pitcher. I believe he's out of options, and he would be lost to waivers if he doesn't make the 25 man squad.Originally posted by Phill11
