For the second straight game, the Washington Nationals pitching was just a little bit better than that of the St. Louis Cardinals. Behind Max Scherzer's seven scoreless innings, Washington took control of the NLCS with a 3-1 victory in Game 2. The Nationals now lead the series 2-0 and will head home with a chance to secure their first trip to the World Series in the next three games at Nationals Park.
