MWC news:
Less of Moore
New Mexico could be without star running back DonTrell Moore when it hosts No.14 Utah.
Moore hurt his knee in a win over New Mexico State on Saturday, and it was originally believed he tore his MCL. Moore, who set the Mountain West career rushing record the week before, was diagnosed with a bone bruise and strained MCL, coach Rocky Long said.
If Moore can't play Friday, senior D.D. Cox and Adrian Byrd will take his place.
"We lose something whenever you lose a player the caliber of DonTrell but we have some decent backups," Long said
