Michael Kidd-Gilchrist helped No. 1 Kentucky overcome some early sloppiness against upset-minded LSU until his fellow Wildcats came alive in the second half. Kidd-Gilchrist scored 19 points and Kentucky survived a feisty effort by the Tigers to take a 60-51 victory Friday in the second round of the Southeastern Conference tournament.
