Gage Harrelson recorded three RBI on two hits to lead Florida State baseball to its second ACC series victory of the season with a 10-6 win over Miami on Saturday.

The No. 4 Seminoles (20-3 [5-1]) scored seven runs in the fourth inning to quickly overturn a 3-2 deficit against Miami. FSU remained ahead for the rest of the game, in part due to an impressive relief performance from Peyton Prescott.

Wes Mendes started and threw four innings where he struck out six and allowed six earned runs on as many hits. Prescott replaced him in relief, throwing four scoreless innings with two hits allowed and seven strikeouts.

FSU scored on a bases-loaded error in the first inning before Daniel Cuvet tied the game in the home half of the inning with a ground out that scored a run.

Harrelson hit an RBI single in the second that scored Hunter Carns, giving FSU a brief 2-1 lead. Miami took a 3-2 lead on a bases-loaded two-RBI single from Cuvet.

Miami's lead lasted an inning as the Seminoles exploded in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded, Carter McCulley walked in a run before Harrelson hit a two-RBI single five pitches later.

FSU kept its foot on the gas with Max Williams hitting a two-RBI bases-loaded single of his own two batters later to extend the lead. A pair of RBI singles from Myles Bailey and Jaxson West rounded out an explosive inning for the Seminoles.

The Hurricanes battled back with a Brandon DeGoti solo home run quickly followed by a two-RBI double from Max Galvin, however, FSU led 9-6.

Both teams went scoreless until the eighth inning. Williams hit a solo homer, his team-high 10th of the season, to give FSU a 10-6 lead.

Prescott shut down the Hurricanes with a pop-out and a pair of strikeouts in the home half of the eighth to keep FSU ahead by four runs as the game entered the ninth inning.

Joe Charles replaced Prescott in the ninth and he quickly retired three to secure the Seminoles a 2-1 series win.
