Incredible stats on Matt Stafford.. look at his record against teams with a winning record, especially on the road. How the hell did the "sharps" in Vegas move the line 3 points from Friday to Sunday, loading up on Detroit? FOOLS!!

Edit: that chart is only through 12/8/13, so add at least our victory to the list of losses. Sheesh.

What do the 2 wins mean then? Were they a losing team when they beat the other team?

The Lions were the home team in those wins - bringing Stafford's record to 2-13 at home vs. winning teams, through the end of 2013.

The chart shows that Stafford and the Lions were 0-14 on the road vs. winning teams up to the end of 2013. Looks as though they used the opponent's final regular season record to determine "winning teams", not the record at the time they played, so unless one of their earlier road opponents (Panthers, Jets, Vikings, Falcons) goes on a winning streak, the Cardinals are the only winning road team the Lions have played this year. (The Panthers were 2-0 at the time they beat the Lions.) Adding the loss to the Cardinals to the 0-14 shown in the chart brings the total to 0-15, as the headline states. Ulch!

Detroit has beaten both GB and Miami this season(both have winning records) and both were at home.

We have beaten Detroit the past 6 times in a row. Quite a streak.

The thing about good teams is that opponents always have an excuse. Stafford can't play on the road, Tony Romo was out, SF had injuries on defense, Philip Rivers was off that day, the Giants were still learning their game plan under a new offensive coordinator, the Raiders just changed coaches.

You could go on and on. Our team never makes excuses. We lost a ton of talent on D. I'm not even sure people realize how much pro bowl talent we lost. But never an excuse. Not once.

This is a well built football team, with a lot of captains and leaders from other teams. We're a complete football team.

They have something really special in the locker room. I believe they can go all the way. They have each other's back. It was PPs comments that made me believe, when Palmer went down, he said the D took it personally. That's rare. He said they wanted to then destroy the opposing QB and they did.

And I keep seeing players go up to BA after a win. I've been saying it 3 or 4 weeks now. That's rarer than you'd expect nowadays. Not celebrating with teammates but looking for the coach. PP looked like he was going to cry last game, when he found BA and hugged him. Dockett has been a stud on the sideline. And look at the players afterward in the lockeroom, with PP hopping around and CC right up front. This is a United lockeroom the likes of which we haven't seen. A lockeroom like that can win a SB.

The way our players treat this coach is a throwback to times past. When the coach was more important and garnered an almost revered respect. That's what our Cardinals are showing BA. It's amazing to me.

That's because we have a throwback coach...and I'm loving every minute of it. BASK are real people, the don't pull punches and tell it like it is, whether you want to hear it or not. The neat thing is the players seem to know when they hear something they don't want to, they realize the truth/honesty behind it, and strive to improve. Or so it seems to me anyway.

And this stat was the reason there was 100% confidence from me that they were going to win. We have OWNED the Lions!
