I sat in the endzone today, section 121, and I have to say it was as loud as I have ever heard it at the end of the game today.
It was awesome!

Seattle was having a lot of trouble getting their snaps on offense and Okung was false starting (and getting away with it regularly) like a mad man. So I imagine it must have been pretty loud.

Loved how much our men in the box were moving around before the snap, seemed to confused their Wilson and their block scheme on several occasions.

Getting that false start where Wilson was stomping his feet like crazy to try and get the snap was awesome.

The nest was well-protected today! Great crowd and Whiz and several players were sure to mention our noise in their post-game comments! ;)

For anyone there: On the broadcast you could hear the crowd chanting. (Not the B-S- at the end of the game.) It was while the game was in progress and we couldn't quite make it out. Was it U-S-A or something else?

Please tell me they weren't chanting U-S-C for Carroll.

It was the 2nd or third loudest I can ever recall. The last few minutes of the NFC championship will never be topped, and I think the last few minutes of the Green Bay shootout was probably louder as well, but outside of that, the crowd was pretty stellar today.

There were no USC chants, at least where I was located.

"These Refs Suck"?

That was the only chant I can think of that happened near me during all of that.

Good to know.

The Fox broadcast showed Carroll so much it was nauseating. We should have had a fundraiser going a la Dawg: A buck to charity every time Carroll was shown. We'd have raised a ton of dough.

I have no voice after that game. And my head and throat hurt from screaming.

It was awesome.

The only thing that sucked was when our own fans were stupid enough to make noise when we were on offense. Made so much noise that it clearly affected Skelton more than once and he had to do the "be quiet" wave with his hands. The Seattle D saw this and #56 was waving his hands and asking for more noise. One play it actually led to an INT - which was thankfully called back by a defensive penalty.

No excuse for the hometown fans to be yelling and screaming when we have the ball. Idiots. It is so bad and happens so often that there is a video graphic with Big Red holding a "Be Quiet" sign. Lame. So lame.

When we were in a timeout when we had the ball in the red zone, they decided that was the perfect time to play the little video that they have of the Seahawk invading the Cardinal nest and Big Red beating the crap out of him.... and of course the crowd was going nuts right when the playclock started. Perfect timing on that video, eh?!

Yes, that was a horrible decision and it definitely egged on the home crowd at the wrong time, but this happened at other times during today's game and - IIRC - it happened so often that there used to be a personalized graphic in which Big Red did the "be quiet" wave and then held up a "Shhh! Kurt is working !!" sign. Ugh. :|

I was very pleased with the crowd noise, particularly during the 4th time out. The crowed booed almost constantly during that whole fiasco.

The cheering on offense is always an issue at the beginning of the season. New fans just don't know and have to be educated by the veteran fans. It happens every year.

You could barely hear the announcers on tv at certain points of the game.

I had to tell the old lady next to me to stop yelling when the Cardinals were on offense. I was nice about it and explained why.
