All five of the first five picks played major roles in the Cardinals only superbowl appearance four years later.

Also, it's widely regarded as one of the top 25 drafts in NFL history (seriously, google it). What's ironic is that the draft was led in part by everyone's favorite whipping boy GM, Rod Graves (Denny Green was also a big part of the process). At least Rod was able to get a few more paychecks as a result of this success, so good for him.

ESPN's Brian Burke and Doug Clawson ranked the top draft classes in modern NFL Draft history, with the Arizona Cardinals 2004 class coming it at 18th.

I’m going with this years draft class because in a few years I think it’s going to go down as one of the best in AZ history.

Rd 1: Zaven Collins (I’m confident he’s going to grow into his role like Simmons has)

Rd 3: Essentially this is Rodney Hudson

Rd 4: Marco Wilson

Rd 6: Essentially Zach Ertz
