Damn, I can't beilieve ND pulled out another one. They may go to a BCS game but I bet it won't be pretty. They'll lose by 3 TD's at least depending on who they play...

They are definitely not a very good team. Thats all thee is to it. A good team doesnt get outplayed at home by UCLA. Notre Dame doesnt even deserve a sniff at a BCS. But they will get one.

I agree, they are not very good. They have a lousy oline, no run game at all, no speed anywhere except at TE, and a small and slow defense.

But they find ways to win because of Charlie Weis and Brady Quinn.

You underrate UCLA.

And if the Irish go 10-1 and beat USC, they will deserve and get a BCS slot. If they go 9-2, they won't.

I think if they win out they deserve a BCS slot, but maybe not the champoinship game unless there are some other teams who lose.

I'll agree with that. They do have that certain something this year. They just find ways to win (kind of like USC?). UCLA might have started celebrating a tad too early, but regardless that was a gutsy win for ND on Saturday.

James Aldridge, true freshman may get some carries and make a difference. He is a change of pace guy who was very highly rated and would be a Rashon Powers Neal type player to change it up with Walker.

Or he may get 5 carries the rest of the year. Either way, the Irish have plenty of time to get ready for USC, so hopefully the young guys pick up the system before the big game.
