after the single greatest build up to the draft I have a gut feeling nothing is really going to happen.

The Knicks want the world for Porzingas as they should.

I think if we stand where we will end up with Jackson or Tatum or even Fox either way I'll be happy with one of those three

One of the better scenarios imo. Not really liking Fox though, but I would not be surprised if we take him.

My expectation is Tatum. About as low as I could set my expectations.

I'm in the same boat, but it's a good boat to be in. Jayson Tatum would be an awesome addition to an already exciting young roster. I'd prefer Jackson or Fox, but we're pretty much in a no-lose situation.

Just don't reach or go into win-now mode!

I guess Tatum would be OK, but today's NBA demands two-way players. Fultz, Ball, Jackon, and Fox are all two-way players more or less. Not sure about Tatum.

I think we take Jackson if he is available and get a great player to keep or possibly include in a bigger deal.

If Jackson is gone I think we pick Fox if we have a Bledsoe trade lined up to get back into the draft.

Ehhh where there is smoke there is fire so id say 50/50 of something happening as Suns have literally been involved in every trade rumor.

All of the trades are stupid outside of Porzingis. Butler, millsap, george are win-now players that push the needle just enough for a low playoff seed which we all know is the dumpster.

Only two options that should be considered are making the pick and continuing with the rebuild, or trading for Porzingis, prefferably te ladder.

If the Suns wind up with Tatum, I predict that this board will be pleasantly surprised by him.
We already have a better version of Tatum in Warren.

I think drafting Tatum is worst case scenario.

Suns board should look imo:

Jackson
Fox
DSJ
Tatum

Based on Fultz and Ball off the table.

I wouldn't be surprised at a trade-down scenario or a trade with the 4th pick.

If Jackson is not there I can see the Suns drafting Fox for a trade-down.

At some point (maybe not this year) the team has to realize that they like the young core and look into winning. They are not going to go from 20 wins to WCF in one year. There are "dumpster years", to use your terms. So when is that? You can't stay young forever.

The only way I see is us taking Fox is if we have a Bledsoe trade in place. I think we're going to be selecting between Jackson, Tatum, and Isaac. I'd prefer Isaac to Tatum but Jackson over both of them. Tatum is too similar to Warren as far as being just an offensive player who can score, although Tatum has better range. I'd rather swing for the fences with Isaac if we have to choose between Tatum and Isaac. Fox doesn't make sense with Bledsoe, Ulis, and Knight on the roster.

The Big Board should be:

1. Jackson
2. Fox
3. Isaac

But you don't take Fox even if he's BPA. You trade back with one of the teams salivating to get him (ie Sacramento). If you come out of the draft with Jackson AND commodities via trade you win "GM of the 2017 draft".

Tatum should be just ahead of Lauri. I sure hope Boston likes him enough to take him at #3.

I wouldn't be surprised if Isaac is ahead of Fox on the Suns Big Board.

Totally agree with you, no need to disrupt the young core we have, give them 2~3 years to develop.

A combo or SG/SF wing would be best complimentary to current depth, for instance Ferguson from Australia.
