Notre Dame football will lose and add players via the transfer portal following the 2024 season.

Inside ND Sports will track the incoming and outgoing transfers for Notre Dame football below with its annual Notre Dame Football Transfer Tracker. The spring transfer portal window opened Wednesday, April 16 and closes at the end of the day April 25.
The first portal opportunity of the offseason ran from Dec. 9 through Dec. 28. It reopened for Notre Dame and Ohio State players for five days following the CFP National Championship Game, Jan. 20 in Atlanta. That special window closed at the end of the day on Jan. 25.
Nine Irish players ended up in the portal before the spring cycle. Safety Kennedy Urlacher on Wednesday, April 16, was the first to announce he was transferring from Notre Dame during the spring window.
The Irish, which added eight players from the winter portal period, are not expected to add this spring but head coach Marcus Freeman hasn't ruled that out completely.
