It's no secret that Notre Dame women's basketball has one of the best players in women's college basketball, and budding March Madness star.

But ESPN helped put into context how great Hannah Hidalgo is as her second season continued with the Irish's 76-55 win over Michigan. Hidalgo scored 21 points (8 of 14) with three assists, two steals, one rebound and a block in 36 minutes.

She joined an exclusive list with Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark as the only players in the last 25 seasons with at least 1,500 points and 300 assists in their first two seasons. The tale of the tape:

Then Hidalgo appeared on another graphic with Clark, her Fever teammate Kelsey Mitchell and USC star JuJu Watkins. They are the four players with the most games scoring at least 20 points since 1999-2000.

JuJu Watkins, USC5426.0

Hidalgo and Watkins each have another year of college basketball before they are eligible to declare for the WNBA draft. The Fever likely won't be in position to draft either barring a trade, especially after an offseason which included Mitchell's return and several win-now acquisitions, such as Sophie Cunningham, DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard and others.

She's got next: Caitlin Clark started women's basketball popularity craze. Now, JuJu Watkins will continue it
