Denver Nuggets first-round pick Michael Porter Jr. has undergone a second surgery to address back trouble that saw him slide to 14th overall in last month's NBA Draft, the team said Thursday. "Michael Porter Jr. has undergone surgery of the lumbar spine at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas, Texas," the Nuggets said in a statement. NBA.com, citing Porter's camp, reported that the latest procedure has "led to a greater understanding of Porter's herniated-disks condition" and raised confidence he will move on from the injury.
