Here's hoping that our game next year with the Giants can make national TV.

Any thoughts on how we might match up against them?

They won the Super Bowl this year with a 10-6 record. Sorry if I'm not scared. We will kick their ass.

Not saying we don't have a chance, but they just beat the undefeated Patriots. I'm showing them a little respect. I can't even imagine what would've happened to our O-line if they played us this year...

The Ravens SHOULD have beaten the Pats. The Chargers should have beaten the Pats. The Colts SHOULD have beaten the pats.

The Giants did. I have so much love for them right now...and I can't wait to cheer them when they come to UoP next year, then immediately boo them and wish death upon them.

But for now, they are awesome. Kingmakers...

Factors that are considered for determining Natl TV games most likely dont include the Giants returning for a game in AZ. It is the matchups. I am willing to bet a lot of the people who watched the game on TV either did not know it was in AZ or by next fall would have forgotten. If the networks like the matchup it might make it. It would have had a better chance when both played in same division. I think networks more and more like division games for natl tv. Less likely for a blowout due to rivalry factor.

Depends on what happens or doesn't happen with our Offensive Line over the off season. As it stands right now, their front 4 would take us apart.

Maybe, maybe not. Only 7 teams gave up fewer sacks than the Cards in 2007. The 24 sacks allowed were the fewest by a Cardinal team since 1978.

The Giants tore up the 2nd best offensive line, then the 3rd, and the best offensive line on their way to the Super Bowl. Color me worried.

It's hard to predict how teams will do year to year lately. They could have a big drop-off like the Bears and Saints did last year.

The Cards with another year with Grimm could also have a big jump up and be even better. The Giants may also be afflicted by post super bowl championship syndrome which has caused many former champs to drop off the following season.

Interestingly, that same Giants front four finished 23rd in sacks in 2006. Just goes to show what adding a former Texas Longhorn DB can do for your pass rush. :D

The Bears and Saints didn't suffer drop offs last year, they just stopped playing above their abilities.

The Giants are way better this year than either or those teams was last year.
