The Oak Ridge High School Wildcats wrapped up a fantastic season on Saturday with, unfortunately, a loss to Hillsboro, 57-42, in the state tournament at the Middle Tennessee State University Murphy Center at Murfreesboro.
On Friday, the 'Cats beat Whitehaven in the semifinal game, 59-53, after beating Walker Valley, 60-39, on Thursday night.
Becoming the TSSAA 4A High School Basketball runner-up is no small feat. It was a great season and great work by the Wildcats and Coach Aaron Green.
