Hands down, the worst I have ever had the misfortune to listen to. Unbelievably bad.

worst ive ever heard, didn't hear the raiders guys, but when i was in denver on vacation and heard the denver nuggets broadcasters during the Suns game. i muted the game after the second quarter, but i can see the raiders guys being bad, its the raiders after all. what were some of the things they were saying?

It was painful to listen to. I swear one of the guys was drunk.

That would be ex-raider CB George Atkinson, really slurs his words. may have a speech impediment so let's not be too cruel.

The play-by-play confused Rackers and Player.

Jim Plunkett said some nice things about Matt but basically said Kurt should have retired years ago.

and said that Rackers (Player) was the best in the NFC.

He was not drunk he just has a hard time forming words, and yes that was one of the worst announcing trios I have heard. Locally here we always have to watch the Raiders productions and I can't believe they even have fans, the productions are usually worse than any high school coverage and just really makes their product look like crap.

Horrible, horrible announcers. And it particularly pissed me off that the Raiders had the Trojans "I'm In" slogan in their locker room....I dislike you even more now Kiffin. :barf:

They also kept butchering Togafau's name, calling him Tongafau. I wanted to cringe by the 5th time or so.

The quality of the Raiders broadcast was also really inferior to the Cards TV broadcast.

I wonder how the Cardinals managed to get better camera positions than the home team's crews.

It is cool though to get one half of each teams broadcast. Gives you a different perspective on the game.

I have to agree 10000% here with you guys. I just finally got to see the game last night and those bumbling retards tried hard to ruin the experience for me. I just got up and came down here to start a thread on this but ya beat me to it. Good stuff.

Even worse was that overblown, arrogant 5-minute "I am a Raider" promo piece that opened the game. By the time that red-headed elf, flanked by Plunkett and Atkinson showed up on my screen, I was already hating them.

Is everything
Horrid broadcast. The game score/clock area was annoying too. It totally blocked about 15% of the viewing area at the top of the screen.

Good points all the way around, but it was still tons better than the movie-musical "Chicago"...Ugh!

And Kurt thanked him with two big passes to Johnson. I listened to see if he would add an "on second thought" to that, but then again, it's not like Plunkett believes older quarterbacks can contribute.

THey're always bad but they only work the preseason games of course.

I like Plunkett though, always have, he's free with his opinions he doesn't feel he has to sugar coat things.

In Sacramento we lost the feed for about 5 minutes, then just had sound, that was awful just having to listen but not see.

Since i missed the first half live(saw it last night) I was particularly unhappy about the total lack of recapping, and what little they did was just about the raiders.
