Suns are my Kryptonite!
In need of another center to complement the under-sized Brian Grant, L.A. is expected to initiate talks with Vlade Divac and Chris Mihm, the Orange County Register reports.

Joe Mama said:I don't think offering him slightly over the mid-level exception for a couple of years constitutes a "love fest". The truth is Divac today would still be the best center the Phoenix Suns have had in a long, long time.
Yes, he's a flopper. Yes, he has slowed down some. However he can grab rebounds, he's an exceptional passer, and he can still post up most of the big guys he will play opposite. You guys can quote me right now as saying I would rather have him for two years along with a guy like Tractor Traylor than Quentin Richardson for his offer.

You want him to start and help keep us from falling behind until our shots start dropping. Then you want him the last ten minutes of the game or so, assuming we haven't blown the other team out by then. Now we are looking at Yao becoming the dominant center in the West. I think Vlade can guard him better than any guy we have now.![]()
