The guys a complete moron and always about himself. The Bengals got a good thing going & he still acts like many self centered athletes of today.

I bet he gets suspended for at least 1 game, maybe more. The NFL will not tolerate this even though it was a joke.

Stupid 85, plain stupid:mulli:

I thought it was funny. He's not serious, ever. He has a good heart. Not the brightest star in the constellation, but he is a cool dude.

He probably will get fined at least, though. If not suspended as you suggest

You dont make jokes like that in sports the days, you just dont. And you guys are missing the point, he's show boating himself. He could care less about winning, all the dude cares about is 85. What if the game was on the line & he did the same thing and got a penalty that ended up being a critical in a loss. You guys would have grilled him to no end.

Don't like 85 because he is a loud mouth show off with a me first attitude.

What he does get is that this is how he ends up on ESPN or NFL network when his playing days are over.

i thought it was pretty funny as well. Despite his public antics, he's a great teammate and very well respected by his opponents and his team.

when things are going well for him

If you follow the Bengals as closely as I do, you know this isn't entirely true. It was in 06 (the Blond Mohawk year, when Ocho Cinco was born), but a lot has changed since TJ left. The consensus among Bengal fans is that TJ manipulated Chad quite a bit, but that without TJ here he is more his childish self.

TJ is revealed as the real prima donna WR, and I'm glad he's the Seahawks problem now

exactly. people need to lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously. Some people need a little more 85 in themselves

From here in Ohio it seems that Ocho is back in good graces with the fans.

That exhibition game where he kicked off and kicked an extra point won over a few just for that.

He's a clown.......harmless for now.

The NFL isn't just a sports league, it's one of the largest entertainment industries in America. The old-school football days of "grind it out" are dead and gone. The new crowd wants more entertainment and people like Ocho Cinco are providing it. Like it or not, the "old school" fans don't matter now, the revenue is largely coming from the younger audience. Ocho Cinco and future players are here to stay.

Wow some people need to lighten up. Football is a game, meant for entertainment. No need to get all bent out of shape by someone who is obsessed with TRYING to entertain us. That is all 85 cares about. Being an entertainment and a clown. He thrives on it. It isn't self-centered prima-donna crap like TO/Marshall pull. It is just being the "class clown" of the NFL.

If you don't find him funny great, but no need to slander him as an egomaniac when that isn't really the case.

He's awesome and assuming they have similar contracts I'd trade him for Q right now. Boldin is my favorite player EVER, but he doesn't want to be here anymore and Chad is a monster.

We all wouldn't think he was funny if he were a Cardinal. One day in the very near future he is going to do something stupid at a critical juncture in the game, and cost his team 15 yards which could lose them the game. He is everything that is wrong with pro sports and football today. Then ESPN gives this clown face time, encouraging him to do even more stupid stuff.

Boldin, Dockett, Wilson and Rolle have all had penalties that some have said cost us games too. The same qualities that make them great can work against them from time to time IMO.

Thats right. He & other idiots in sports are whats wrong with todays society & people want to act just like them because as you say they see people do it on TV. Thats what I would want my children to be like & look up to, Chad Ocho Cinco.

One thing says all you need to know about the guy, his name change. Why in the hell would someone do that if he didnt care about anything but himself. Enough said...

The guys an idiot & will always be.

He got his fine that he knew he'd get. He changed his name to match his nickname because he thinks his antics are cute. Most people think he is a joke and I don't know anyone who wants to be like him?

He's the Bart Simpson of the NFL. He's only happy if people are entertained by him. He knows he's a clown, and you are attacking him for being one? This is very different from a TO's antics and you know it.
