I found The Big Lebowski at Fry's on Saturday (didn't buy it, but it was there), so I'm not sure how accurate this list is.

Well, the regular version release date was November 5, 2002.

The release date according to every site I've checked is October 18th, 2005 for the Collector's Edition and the Achiever's Edition (gift set).

Fry's was either giving the bare-bones edition one last push or selling the new version too early.
