Don't you guys know that movies get released, and then re-released as a special edition, and then a deluxed edition etc.

Disney is notorious for this.

Yes I do. However, how do you explain Why We Fight? I highly doubt that this is a special edition and the DVD has been out since June.

Could be rereleases, it could be that the original company was bought by a new company, and they are rereleasing it to reflect that... (A big example is Fox taking over some of MGM's back catalog early in the summer) There are a lot of reasons.
